"1971-2011- Celebrating 40 Years in Business!" The Children's Bookshop, established in 1971, is the oldest specialist children's bookshop in NSW Australia and we sell books for adults too! Our strength has always been the expert advice provided by the dedicated and enthusiastic staff who enjoy finding the right book for the young reader and adults alike. Our range of books includes picture books, poetry, classics, information books and contemporary fiction to suit a wide range of interests, ages an abilities. This tradition of retail excellence continues. Opening Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5-30pm, Sat 9am-3pm Remember Storytime for Pre-schoolers Tuesday and Friday Mornings at 9-45am during School Term. The Adult Book Clubs meet ONCE per month. There are currently FOUR GROUPS. The group meets Tuesday evenings at 7-30pm (to 8-30pm), meeting either on the First (The Hare with the Amber Eyes), the Second (The Street Sweeper), Third (The Street Sweeper) or Last Tuesday (The Sense of an Ending).
